I know I have completely sucked it up for the last few weeks of the challenge, but I did ask one of my best blogging friends who's more like a sister to me to write a guest post for me, so I'll turn it over to Lora now!

Two weeks down!
Prompt for today is make a mood board.
Prompt for today is make a mood board.
I couldn't think of what I wanted to make a mood board for and then I thought what is something any dream house of mine would have?
A book nook obviously!
A book nook obviously!
1|| I love this idea of writing your favorite chapters on a wall of your nook, if there any walls not covered by bookshelves that is :)
2|| I would love this kind of bed/couch for cuddling up with big blankets, my dogs & of course a good book and hot coffee.
3|| I'm always looking for a way to have my drink close while I'm in bed reading and I love this idea!
4||If the bed couch wouldn't be available I do love this loft look.

Blogtember 13| Switcheroo.
13 days in already, WOW!
Today's prompt? If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would it be?
I would love to switch places with someone on the road team of Garth Brooks or Brantley Gilbert. Would that not be awesome to be in the inner circle of one of these men? I love going to their concerts and love that they share their lives with us. I'd love to be able to talk to them and just have regular every day conversations with them.

Blogtember 11| Instagram Faves.
Instagram is probably my favorite platform of social media, I love seeing the behind the scenes photos that my favorites post, I'm not one of those people that go all gooey over the staged photos that a lot of the people seem to enjoy posting.
@miss_laughs
Melissa and I met when I decided to become an Itworks Distributor for a period of time last year. I met up with her and one of my blog friends Kenzie last winter. Her feed always gives me hope and I love that she always keeps it real, no filter on her life, the hard stuff, the fun stuff, the great stuff, the messy stuff, it's all on her feed.
@accordingtokenz
Kenzie is the one I talked about above. She's been through so much at a young age, even more than I was at that age and yet she still finds ways to encourage and to smile. I love her heart.
@hopeinthestarrs
My bestest, I love all of the pictures of her little man and all of the memes she sends me and all of that type of awesomeness. She's the one I go to when I need a pick-me-up and a good laugh. Love my best friend.
@murph_n_wrigs
A good majority of my feed is dog 'grams and this is my favorite one. A GSP and a Weim account. #puppylove
What's one of your favorite feeds on IG?

Blogtember 10|Day in the Life.
So on one of the first days of this challenge, we shared favorites of the season and I posted going to valleyfair with my cousins as one of my favorites.
& since today's prompt is to share a day in the life, well what better day to share than a day with the three musketeers from open to close at Valleyfair?
We had a beautiful day and instead of the MOA having Camp Snoopy, Valleyfair has it. Let me just say, Camp Snoopy belongs at MOA, Berenstein Bears belong at Valleyfair, thank you very much!
& since today's prompt is to share a day in the life, well what better day to share than a day with the three musketeers from open to close at Valleyfair?
The "bird" ride as we affectionately dubbed it was new this year and we had fun taking selfies on each ride we took. The first picture of the two is most definitely how she looks at me sometimes because I can be kind of crazy at times :P
The ferris wheel was an adventure. I don't know how we ended up on it because all three of us had some degree of fear when it would stop suddenly, especially when we were at the top.
The Mad Mouse was where we took the original three musketeers selfie 2 summers ago. We recreated the picture to a T.
The tilt-a-whirl was one of the three rides we rode the most I'd bet. It was tied between the tilt-a-whirl, the swings & the bird ride. We rode most of the rides at least once in the day time and once at night because we liked seeing them all lit up. We didn't ride excalibur at all because it hurts like hell(it's an old wooden coaster and jars you all over the place) & we rode Renegade only once because we always forget that it gives you almost as bad of a headache as excalibur because it also is a wooden coaster. We didn't do PowerTower because we refused to get stuck at the top and just didn't feel like riding the one that shoots up. On the tilt-a-whirl we'd get spinning so fast that it hurt to laugh which in turn led to hurting to breathe because we always ended up laughing.
Can you spot the Meghan? It took me a while when looking at these photos after a month or so and then I was like OH HEY THERE I AM! We somehow didn't loose any phones or drop them or get them confiscated because we weren't really supposed to have them out once we boarded the rides. #whoops
If I had to pick any one picture that was my favorite from this three musketeers trip it would be this one. I'm pretty sure the swings were designed for younger kids, but it's one of our favorite rides every time we go.
Megs, Pookie & Red. The 3 Musketeers. We're cousins because Lord knows our mothers couldn't handle all 3 of us as sisters.

Blogtember 8| Tour.
So today's prompt is share a glimpse of your space.
I put my own twist on this prompt and I'm going to share a short story I wrote about my pair of couches that are in my living room.
Before these blue couches found their second home in my first apartment, they had a stay in storage, but before that, they had their home in my grandma and grandpa's living room. I think that's a big reason why they're so special to me. I sat on these couches as I listened to stories from my grandpa and dad. I sat on these couches when Barry, a family friend, would dress up as Santa and hand out gifts. I slept on these couches when I'd come out to my Dad's while our house was being remodeled. Now that they are in my apartment, they have been where I have written crucial scenes in my book that's a work in progress, they've been home to prayers during my quiet time. Where I lay my head when I can't sleep and where I enjoy my favorite shows. These couches have seen me as a young girl, as a teenager and now as a young woman on my own. These couches are something that now have sentimental value to me. I'm excited to see where they will be in the next stages of my life.

I also have a larger couch across from this one. |

Blogtember 7| Joyful 5.
One week down, three weeks left, I'm loving these prompts! Today we're talking five things that bring you joy.
one| My dogs. Cooper, Chloe & Leader are my babies and they bring me immense joy. Whether it be when they cuddle up to me when I come home or when they do something so ridiculous that I can't help but laugh.
two| Road trips with my Momma.
three| When my Lynn-Mom calls me for a simple question and we end up having a twenty minute conversation. I miss when I lived at home and we talked all the time, but this is the second best thing.
four| Solving a problem that stumps other people. Especially at work. I love when I find the answer to something difficult.
five| When Jayme and I can have on-going conversations on multiple platforms. We can be talking on facebook messenger, tweeting and texting on three different subjects and somehow we don't get them mixed up. My best friend is pretty awesome. #justsayin

Blogtember 5| Memorable Birthday.
Five days in! The fifth prompt for Blogtember is what was your most memorable birthday.
Growing up I have some pretty awesome birthday memories...
My 4th birthday party was at Discovery Zone and as imagined it was AWESOME!
I celebrated I believe it was my 13th birthday by racing NASCAR simulators with my g-rents, my dad and lynn-mom and it was fun, even funnier afterwards when my dad almost threw up because of them ;)
My 17th birthday was celebrated by going to Texas Roadhouse with the family and sitting on the saddle for the first time.
My 18th and 19th birthdays were spent at the casino up north with my Granny.
This year I spent the day with lots of "my people" I had lunch with my work momma, spent the rest of the day with my dad, lynn-mom and ryan & then Mady took me out for a sisters day the day after my birthday where she got this wonderful clip
But the birthday memory I really want to talk about is the surprise party my Granny and my aunt Jenny planned for me for my 14th birthday. I would spend a lot of school vacation time up north between my mom's parents and my dad's parents, and that year my birthday must have fell in the spring break time frame because that's when they threw it. I had no idea and it was wonderful. What makes it extra special is that it was the last birthday I got to celebrate with my Grandpa before he passed away that September.
My family-immediate and extended know how to have a fun party and create great memories, I'm so grateful for all the fun and love not only surrounding my birthdays but every day!

Blogtember 3| Summer favorites
Today's prompt for Blogtember is...share your summer 2016 favorites
Music||
Well, my cousin Stephanie and I got to see a lot of great live music this summer between Easton Corbin at the beginning of May as well as all of the acts at Moondance in June. If I had to pick two favorites for the live music, it would probably be Easton Corbin & Dierks Bentley. For music released this summer, I really loved Kelsea Ballerini's Peter Pan, Chris Janson was an artist that I discovered and really loved his story outside of his music & Kane Brown was hit or miss with me. My next concert looks to be Kip Moore with Steph and then probably Cole Swindell with a group of Mady's friends.
Moments||
This summer was full of some great moments, a lot of hanging out with my neighbor turned one of my best friends Trisha. Making late night taco bell runs, giving in to the Pokemon Go craze. It was also random Saturdays spent hanging out with Mady doing nothing spectacular just being silly and hanging out. A quick Pine Lake run one Friday in June to set up our camper and to unwind. Roadtripping with my momma three times in a six week period in late spring/early summer up north to celebrate graduations and to go to the aforementioned Moondance with my cousin.
Memories||
Some of my favorite memories from this summer are FINALLY making it up to Pine Roost for a weekend with my family. It had been since 2014 that I made an appearance save for that quick couple hour trip we made on the Friday mentioned above. Played multiple games of Pegs and Jokers, a family Ranger ride to check out the flood levels after historic rains and just unplugged for a couple days, it was much needed. I also got to make another trip to Valleyfair with my cousins where we spent all day literally open to close riding all the rides and just having a great time, it was a great way to spend a Friday off. Having a week off in mid-August that had no plans after Iowa this summer was a no-go, I spent half of it just chilling at my apartment doing nothing of importance and then the other half hanging out with my family when a family friend was in town from California. All in all summer 2016 was a blast and I can hardly believe it's almost over!

Blogtember 2| Goal-getter
Today's prompt for Blogtember is share a list of your current goals.
Take Cooper and Chloe to the shot clinic without it becoming a big fiasco. This in theory should go off without a hitch. Cooper is laidback most of the time, his golden retriever counterpart however can be a bit of a spaz of epic proportions. Wish me luck. Mady and I are in tag-teaming it.
Enjoy Chicagoland with my stepdad. My mom got my stepdad two tickets to the Chicagoland Speedway for Christmas last year & he's bringing me & I'm pretty pumped about it, we also have pit passes so that's going to be AWESOME!
Celebrate Mady's Birthday. Not sure what we are doing yet for the seester's birthday, I'm sure her and I will end up going out one night to celebrate.
Schedule a dentist appointment. I'm going to try and get it for the same day my rescheduled ortho appointment is, which would be the end of October but if I at least get it scheduled I'll be happy.
Complete blogtember! Two posts down, twenty-eight to go.

Blogtember 1| Introductions
Hey y'all! (This is where I admit that I'm not from anywhere near the south, but definitely say y'all.)
I'm Meghan. I am 24 as of April 2nd and I still love celebrating my birthday.
I'm a small town country girl who loves love. My idea of a fairy-tale isn't Romeo and Juliet, but it's the real life story of my grandma and grandpa growing old together. I truly believe my Dad and Lynn-Mom's house is the house that built me and I love going back there. One of my favorite places to be is when we are all gathered at my grandparents' house and we are all sitting around their table and we're laughing and talking all over each other, it's bliss to me.
My family is pretty awesome and big and loud and I honestly would be so lost without them.
I love writing and definitely think I can write better than I talk. I'm working on a four book series about four cousins who live in Texas and are best friends. The first book is called Handwritten Love & I will talk about it with whoever will listen :)
Reading is also one of my favorite ways to unwind. I will read just about anything once.
Country music is usually what's playing in my earbuds, and I love going to concerts as much as work and my bank account will let me :P
All of this is inconsequential without one thing. & that is my faith and relationship with Jesus. Without that I'm absolutely nothing.
I'm so excited for the Blogtember challenge and getting to know my favorite bloggers more!
