2013 In Review


What did you do in 2013 that you’d never done before?I visited the UP in Michigan(you can read about that here!) and I met my first blog friend(here!)
Did you keep your new years’ resolutions?
Will you make more for next year?
I didn't really keep any of them, no.  I will probably make a list soon, yeah.  
Did anyone close to you give birth?A lot of my blog friends did.  
Did anyone close to you die?Yeah.  
What countries did you visit?Just USA.
What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013?A better financial situation :) 
What date from 2013 will remain etched upon your memory?May 31st, when the storm chasing community lost three of our own.  
What was your biggest achievement of the year?Nothing too exciting, I celebrated another year at Walmart in July...
What was your biggest failure?Letting something completely stupid get between my grandparents and I and not talking to them for six weeks.  
Did you suffer illness or injury?Nothing too extreme.  
What was the best thing you bought?concert tickets! 
Whose behavior merited celebration?I have to give major props to one of my supervisors who knew about the situation between my grandparents and I, and kept pushing me to talk to them.  
Where did most of your money go?School, phone and Amazon.  
What did you get really, really, really excited about?George Strait! 
What song will always remind you of 2013?

How will you be spending Christmas?
Christmas Eve morning, I'm doing presents with my immediate family at Dad's, Christmas Eve evening, will be dinner and church with my extended family, Christmas Day we're going up to my Uncle's cabin, the 28th we are doing extended family of my Dad's and then I'll go to my mom's the last three days of the year and spend that with her.  
Did you fall in love in 2013?
Nada.  
How many one-night stands?Zero.
Who were your best friends?Bee, V, Jayme, Lynn, Cass.  
What thing did you do that was meaningful to others?I tried to help out around the house as much as possible.  
What were your favorite TV programs?Army Wives & Nashville.  
Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?I try very hard not to hate anyone, so I'd say no.  
What was the best book you read in 2013?I loved Forgiving Lies by Molly McAdams.  
What was your greatest musical discovery?I love Thomas Rhett. 
What did you want and get?More time with my family.  
What did you want but did NOT get?Not much. Luke Bryan tickets!!
What were your favorite films this year?I loved Pitch Perfect and the Heat.  
What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?I was 21 and I went out to eat with my family (:  
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?I could have done without not having my work momma have a stroke.  .
What kept you sane?
Faith, Family & Friends.  
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Tim, Paul and Carl.  
What political issue stirred you the most?
Healthcare.  
Who do you miss?I miss my grandparents, but they're coming home tonight!
Who are the best new persons you met this year?I loved meeting Jayme this year!
