So what has been going on in my life lately? Well let me tell you!
I received an apology last week that I had accepted that I would never get from someone that I have had issues with over the last couple of years.
I finished Hannah Brencher's book "if you find this letter" and I absolutely loved her words. I'm hoping to take the next writing workshop she has in April. #hellotaxmoney
Speaking of taxes, I think I'll try and do mine this weekend, I'm hoping for a pretty good return, most of it will be going to my hospital bills from October, but I'm hoping to keep some for some fun.
I'm in a really good spot right now, the only thing I would possibly change is the fact that my partner in crime is still out on leave, but totally crossing my fingers and praying that she's back to work ASAP. I've got so many things to look forward to, I'm heading out to my Mom's Super Bowl weekend to watch the Panthers kick ass & then the third weekend in February, I'm going to see Dustin Lynch with Mads. Possibly going to try to sneak away to Wisconsin with my Lynn-Mom for a girls weekend while she does t-shirts for some tournament the first weekend in March. My 24th birthday is the first Saturday of April & then Brantley Gilbert is the third weekend in April, so lots of fun stuff indeed!
I work all weekend, before being off Monday and Tuesday, I have nothing planned, so we'll see what shenanigans I can get myself into ;)

Sunday Saves
I totally blanked on this post last week, so this week's edition will be a combination of the last two weeks worth of saves.
Kallie shared 9 of her favorite IG accounts, which IG is probably my favorite social media platform, I've always loved pictures!
I absolutely loved this post from Kelly on being brave, something that I'm working on this year.
Handwritten Love has a playlist already, but after reading Kate's post, I really want to make my main characters playlists as well.
Sam explains why she reads blogs and I happen to agree with a majority of what she's saying here.
What links have you saved lately?

My New Digs!
So I kind of suck at the beginning of blog posts, how do you guys do it? Just jump in and say hey here I am WAH-LAH?
Well I have an even bigger thing to wah-lah today, how do you like my new digs? I think they are pretty awesome if I do say so myself :)
But I most definitely cannot take the credit, that goes to the wonderful Sabra of Midnight Photography & Design.
I have nothing but great things to say about Sabra and how she does things, I've worked with many wonderful designers over the years, but her process and the way she conducts said process is the best I've seen and I really enjoyed not only the endgame, but getting to go through the whole process with her basically walking side by side through it.
I'm not even sure that makes sense, but just know this, I LOVED working with Sabra & I would recommend her to anyone.
I'm pretty sure everything has transferred over correctly and that all links are working as they should, but if for some reason you come upon something that doesn't, please let me know!

happy & grateful.
Well hello Monday. You're actually my Friday today, so let's get to it shall we?
I haven't linked up with Emily in way too long to share what's on my grateful heart, so I thought I'd do that and mash it up with a happy list as well.
A few things that I'm happy & grateful for..
-after a really crappy Friday, like one of the worst days I've had in a while, seeing my phone light up with Mama Karen on the display & hearing hey squeezebox, miss you and love you more. God works in mysterious ways, He knew I needed that & He delivered. #Godwink
-like I mentioned above, it's my Friday today & I'm so ready for it. Two days off in a row & the only thing planned is going over to the parentals on Wednesday morning to do laundry and then hanging out with my lynn-mom, sounds like a great time.
-one of my favorite authors Kristy Bromberg just released her much anticipated newest book Aced last night at midnight, as if it needs saying, I already finished that bad boy. SO GOOD!
-speaking of books, I've reignited my love for reading that if I was honest was absent for a better part of the last year.
-my morning routine, get up, make some coffee, boot up my steven curtis chapman pandora station and do my quiet time.
what's something that you're grateful for or happy about?
linking up with emily for grateful heart & meg for mingle monday!

Sunday Saves.
Good Sunday morning! I've tried to start something like this here in the past, but I'm going to try it again, I want to share some of my favorite saves from my bloglovin' feed this past week!
I absolutely love Lauren's mantra for 2016. I think it's one everyone should adapt for the new year.
Amber's words always strike a deep chord within me, she just has a way with them, I loved her collection of buts.
Chelsea shared little things you should do every day & I completely agree with her. I especially liked her last point.
Jordan's dear you letters touch me to my core as well, and her latest to her tribe makes me realize how grateful I am for MY tribe.

Friday Favorites.
Favorite Book Read: I just got done re-reading the With Me in Seattle series in the two bundles that Kristen Proby released. One of my favorite series and authors!
Favorite verse: John 3:30..
Favorite Moment: Saturday evening Mady, her boyfriend & I went over to hang out with my grandparents before they headed back down to Arizona after being here for all of December for Christmas, we were about to leave until my Grandma brought out the ice cream, and my Grandpa is like we've got Bunny Tracks(an actual ice cream flavor.) & bear poops in the woods. UM WHAT?! This was after he told my Grandma that they didn't need to check in online, because the people at the airport kayaks would help them(he meant kiosks) & then we were talking about Sisters, the movie Mady and I went to see and he kept pronouncing it theATEr, now Mads and I were sitting diagonal from each other telling them about the movie and we were both trying to keep our laughter in from his pronunciation and my grandma must have caught us, because she's like MEGHAN! Stop laughing, my grandpa was all like why are you two laughing so hard? My grandma explained it to him and I was sitting by him so he kicked me, I'm like OW!(He didn't kick me that hard at all, but I had to give him a little more razzing haha!). It was a great way to spend an evening off. Oh & that ice cream that my Grandpa was offering? Barefoot Brownie, but it will forever be Bear poops in the woods for us now
Favorite song(s): Amen by SCC which came on quite a few times during my quiet time this week & Heartbeat by Carrie Underwood.
Favorite quote: One of my friends and fellow impractical dreamers, Sarah posted this a few days ago & I LOVE it!

Who I Am.
Sarah from Coffee & Glitter decided to put together a 52 week blogging challenge so that she had at least one blog post a week covered and I really liked the idea, the first week's prompt is to tell about who we are.
Obviously my name is Meghan, hence the blog name of Meghan Anna ;)
I'm 23, but can have the sense of humor of a 13 year old boy or curl up on the couch with a hot cup of coffee and a good book like an 80 year old grandma, it all depends on my mood.
My favorite books are the Driven Series by Kristy Bromberg, anything written by Molly McAdams and Ryan White's autobiography.
My favorite movie is a toss-up between 8 seconds and Twister.
My favorite song is always changing, but my go-to's are Austin by Blake Shelton, What Faith Can Do by Kutless & That's Why God Made Me by Darryl Singletary. I won't ever turn down George Strait or Garth Brooks either.
My favorite color is either purple or green if I actually had to pick one :)

2016, wait what?
2016. Whoa. Wow. Hard to believe that it's already a new year. I'm excited for this blank page so to speak.
My words for this year are authentic audaciousness. I wrote a post about why here.
My goals for the year are as follows:
-Complete the SheReadsTruth Bible in a Year plan.
-Make this the year that I finish project 365. I was like 20 days from completing it in 2015. If you want to follow along, check out #meghananna2k16
-Finish Handwritten Love and figure out next steps with it.
-Read and log 100 books on Goodreads!
-Post on the blog 250 times.
-Average 10,000 steps a day...p.s. add me on fitbit, email address is meghanbrown2010(at)gmail(dot)com or leave your email addy in the comments!
-Create and stick to a budget!
Do you have a word or phrase for 2016? Did you set a Goodreads Reading Challenge?
