Hello My Name Is...

I saw this link up with Kerrie and knew I wanted to join in and be a part of it!

Before Jesus(and to be quite honest, even through the first few years of my relationship with Him) I was a worrier.  A worrywart, what happens if A,B, or even C happens? How will I cope? What will I do? Will my family and I be okay?

When I was 15 or 16, I first heard Philippians 4:6 on our local Christian radio station and I listened, but didn't let it really sink in, but I heard it again when I was graduating high school and then it became something to me, my life verse if you will.  I can't sit here and tell you that I am perfect and always lay my worries down to Jesus and let them go.  Because that's the farthest thing from the truth.

My new name is prayer warrior.  I try and pray myself through every difficulty, but again, that doesn't make me any less agitated when I ask my mom or grandma for advice for them to turn me back to Jesus.  I am trying to work on that too :) God's working on me!

Have a great day everybody!

  2. It's amazing how refreshing prayer is, but for me, it's sometimes forgotten! Then I feel like such an idiot for trying to relieve stress or worry through anything or anyone else. Thankfully God is good to remind us and bring us back to Him. I'm so glad you linked up Meghan!
