I'm Thankful for..

First of all, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Hope you guys are able to spend it with the ones you love!

What are you all thankful for?
Here are some of the things I'm thankful for!

1. My family. They mean the world to me, I am so blessed to call them mine!
2. My faith in God. Jesus rocks my socks off!
3. My friends. My true friends. My blog friends. You guys rock!
4. My job. As much as it drives me crazy sometimes, I do love it a lot of the time. Because hello, we're walmart where every kiss begins with a W, H is for hobbit, and 9 is the new midnight. You'd have to work at my walmart to understand that joke (:
5. School. I love court reporting. I love the instructors, the people I go to school with, and the challenge.
6. Days of Our Lives. Yes, I am thankful for a soap opera. It has a ton of sentimental value to my stepmomma and I (:
7. Starbucks. Coffee in general. It is literally my liquid crack sometimes.
8. My stepmom. Yes, she gets her own category seperate from my family and friends. This woman has been my rock for the last ten years. She has ALWAYS been there for me.
9. Chocolate. Chocolate is another one of my addictions and I am very thankful for it!
10. My furbabies. Cooper loves me unconditionally, and Leader, when I visit my Mom's house goes crazy.
11. Small town life. If you remember my post from a couple months ago, I love my Smalltown USA.
12. Men. I am thankful to have eye candy. Especially country boys!
13. Worn jeans. I love jeans that have the worn look.
14. Good books. I am totally a bookworm for sure (:
15. Movie nights with Mady.
16. New notebooks & pens, nothing like a blank piece of paper to write on!
17. Homecooked meals.
18. Twitter. It's a great way to really connect with other bloggers & mold friendships made from blogs (:
19. My camera. I love taking pictures!
20. Being able to learn new things.

Smalltown USA

When I was first born, I lived in a town about half hour away from the Twin Cities. The same town I actually go to school in now. When I was 7, my parents divorced. My mom and my brother and I moved to a town about 10 minutes from Minneapolis. I was ok with the move and didn't really realize how much I didn't like living that close to the city until I was in my junior high/high school years when I realized how I loved visiting my dad about an hour away from the cities. I didn't realize how much I truly loved it til I moved to my dad's after graduating high school.

I love the small town feel. I am asked often if I would ever move closer to the cities again, and honestly I find hard to say anything other than no. I love my town. I love the way when someone is hurting the whole community gathers around their family. I love the fact that everybody knows everybody. I'm enthralled with the fact that I can tell people who my parents and grandparents are, and nine times out of ten they know who I am referring to, and give me some sort of story or anecdote about them.

I love where I live. I am ten minutes either way from two medium sized cities. My grandparents and aunt and uncle live on the street behind us. I never wonder who would be there for me if something were to happen.

I have noticed living here for the last year and few months how NICE people are around here for the most part. They rarely make you feel like you're a burden and most of the time have a smile for you and a good word to give. It's like the line from the Kenny Chesney song "Boys of Fall" I've got your number, I got your back when your back's against the wall, you mess with one man you got us all.

I am very blessed to call this place home & do not take it for granted.

By the way, this is my first link-up for Pour Your Heart Out.

What I'm Loving on a wee bit wednesday v2

I'm LOVING the fact that I'm back in school today, I've been itching to see my friends and get new info to practice on my steno

I'm LOVING the fact that my cousin is coming over tonight or friday night, he's awesome. His name is Spencer, and he's pretty cool. He's a year younger than I am (: A year and two weeks exactly. He gave me the nickname awkward spice, and he's lazy pice after the spice girls!

I'm LOVING the fact that next paycheck I'm getting my bonus! The extra money is needed for NEXT semester. I will be VERY VERY close to being able to pay for it.

I'm LOVING the nice warm weather we've been having.

I'm LOVING the fact that my puppy is always ready for a cuddle!

I'd love to learn how to like ballroom dance & stuff, my grandma and grandpa H are bomb at it, I love watching them dance!

Mountain Dew!

{six} if your house caught fire and you could only grab three things, what would they be?
Assuming my family & Coop & Jack(my chocolate lab) were safe, I'd say my phone, my computer & my Reed Timmer autographed copy of Into The Storm.

{seven} if you could only visit one restaurant for the next five years, which would it be?
Texas Roadhouse!

My grandparents<3

Ohh you make me smile (:

Today has been such a great day! It is my first actual day off in MONTHS! If I am off of work, I have school & vice versa. I'm on my three week break from school before going back for summer semester.

I'm home alone, because everybody else is out mowing. I do NOT mow. I am the laundry chick. I hate mowing. & I am not good at it.

It's finally starting to get nice out around here. Mady & I took a bike ride with cooper, and then laid out on our trampoline.

We came in & Mady made grilled cheese it was amazingg! Apparently we're having manwich tonight too. I LOVE MANWICH! lol. It's the simple things lol.

Last night at work, I was able to work customer service almost all night. I learned how to do claims & how to close customer service. It was a good night.

I went to my mom's house between work on saturday & work on Sunday. It was nice to go home. I got to see my aunt & grandma which was great. I miss my granny.

I think that's about it, but do me a favor, you all should go check out Meg & her Mingle Monday Blog Hop (: I would appreciate it mucho!
