You should know something, I love to blog.
Like really love it.
Not only writing my blog, but reading yours!
I could possibly say I like reading yours than writing mine at times lol.
I blog for me.
I may write 1000 times a day or once a month.
I can have 0 comments or 100 comments, and yes I squeal at each one I get along with each new follower I get, but the thing is, if I lose it all tomorrow, I'd be fine. Blogging is just my way of getting my rambles out about stuff that my family is tired of hearing me talk about or things I need advice on.
Don't get me wrong, I love each and every person who follows me, because I DO!
So today, I pledge to write for me first. I am always willing to hear about what you'd like to see me write about though!
This blog is like a baby to me, so I pledge to be true to me and be honest and transparent in everything I write.
So from now on, you will see posts about how much I love George Strait, how I can't stand when my face breaks out randomly. How I can't believe I'll be twenty in less than 3 months. & just random Meghan ramblings!
I do hope you'll stick around though!
Love you all!
The best part of blogging is being able to write about whatever you want and whatever makes you happy!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I think we could all stand to do this a little more! The most important thing is blogging for ourselves and then making great relationships! I get so wrapped up sometimes in how many followers I have, how many comments, etc. but that really shouldn't matter! I write for myself and to bond with some cool girlies!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding me of that again today!
So perfectly said! Good for you, girl!
ReplyDeleteGood for you. Having a blog is for yourself and not for others. I think when people stop worrying about followers, comments, etc..then the realness shines through. So great job :)
ReplyDeleteIt is always best to write for you. I realized a few months back and it has made blogging that much better for me!
ReplyDeleteLove this mission statement - from the heart instead of what everyone else deems is the right thing to say ... you go girl!
ReplyDeleteHi Meghan!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is too cute. I'm so glad I stumbled upon it. :) I like your "ramblings" and enjoy reading good, developed content like some of the posts I've seen here.
I'm the Editorial Assistant at FaithVillage.com - a new social network for faith experiences. We've built a website for Christ-followers that combines community (like Facebook) with inspiring content (like blogs, articles, videos, audio, etc). I think your blog is great and would fit so well in FaithVillage. If you're interested in becoming a contributor, I'd love to send you more info. Thanks & Blessings,

I love to blog too! I am your newest follower. Check out mine if you get a chance. I found you through your mackeymadness ad.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way! I love new readers and comments but I write for me. I write what I wanna write and how I wanna write. Loving your blog & your outlook!
