This Weekend I....

best Christmas present ever! no relation to this post though. 

This weekend I...worked during the day, and had fun at night.  

This weekend I...watched my stepmom's team lose 3 to 1 in a hockey game.  

This weekend I...had a slumber party all weekend with my stepmom and Mady in my parents room, since we were deer hunting orphans/widow.  

This weekend I...ate out both nights.  The Station in Monti for apps and drinks after Lynn's game on Friday and then The Friendly Buffalo for dinner Saturday night.  

This weekend I...blogger failed and didn't get any pictures.  #bloggingprobs

1. What is your morning routine?

When I work early, I shower the night before, get up, do my hair, do the whole brush teeth/wash face, get all fresh routine and then make my self some coffee.  

If I work later, I will wake up slowly in bed, checking my social media, then do the same as above, and I'll either write for a while or read some blogs.

4. Tell us a little about you and your family.

My parents divorced when I was younger, I have one brother that is my mom and my dad's, Matt who is 18.  My dad married my stepmom, Lynn, who had Mady who is also 18.  Together they had my brother Ryan who is 11.  My mom married my stepdad Curt, who had Nik who is 23 and Rebekka who is 18(almost 19).  They had Zak who is 13 and Olivia who is 10.  I have three furbabies.  Leader is a beagle and lives with my mom.  Cooper and Chloe are my dogs at my dad's.  Coop is a weim and Chloe is a golden.  I live with my Dad, Lynn and Ryan.  

5. What are your favorite holiday traditions?

I work at Walmart, we close at 8 on Christmas Eve and the last few years, my Grandparents, parents and brother and sister all come and pick me up and embarrass me.  Last year I didn't work, so it didn't happen, but the year before that, there was bells and whistles and horns and I loved it.  

6. Tell us one random fact about you! Make it fun!

I have three siblings that are 18 right now and not one of them is a twin.  #BOOM. Two of them are only 8 days apart though.

Never Ever Ever....

• will I not miss my grandparents when they go down to AZ for the winter
• will I prefer winter over Fall, Summer or Spring
• will I not be a dog person.  I love my babies.
• will I not laugh at the lists on Buzzfeed.  
• will I make the mistake of getting a Peppermint Mocha again instead of a White Peppermint Mocha, there is definitely a difference!

8 Things.

So I saw this a while back on Erin's blog & thought it would make a good blog post of my own.  There was an article floating around the internet and blogosphere a few weeks back about the eight things every happy woman should have:

1) A go-to drink:

If I'm out with friends, it's a mudslide.  If I'm just at home it's a Mike's Hard Black Cherry.  

2)A go-to Karaoke song:

Either Garth Brooks' The Thunder Rolls or Friends in Low Places, it must be the live version though! 

3) A uniform:

Well if my favorite worn in jeans and old hoodie is a uniform, then yeah, I got a uniform! 

4) A hairstylist that they love:

Yep.  She doesn't cost me an arm and a leg and she knows me well enough where the small talk isn't awkward.  

5) An exercise routine:

I think I should go on the elliptical tonight, nah, maybe tomorrow.  Oh that's not an exercise routine? My bad. 

6) A hobby: 

Reading and writing.  

7) A best friend:

Yep.  Blessed with three of them.  

8) A healthy sense of self:

Yeah, I think so!
