CMA Recap!

Who watched the CMA's?

I totally forgot to DVR them, so I caught the last half hour or so, but I've heard it was a great show. I'm still going to recap the winners and my thoughts about them & I might sneak in a few pictures of their attire as well!

Yeah, Scotty McCreery, you can just call me obsessed. It's pretty much ridiculous about how much I <3 his voice and his good looks!

Now, onto the awards themselves!

Single of the Year went to If I Die Young by The Band Perry, and honestly, it was the best choice, although I do love A Little Bit Stronger by Sara Evans :D

Song of the Year also went to If I Die Young by The Band Perry, now for this one, I think Dirt Road Anthem would have been a better choice, but that's because I love Jason Aldean rapping.

Vocal Duo: Sugarland. Awesome duo. Their music is just catchy! My second pick would have been Thompson Square, but they are a lot newer than Sugarland.

Album of The Year: My Kinda Party, Jason Aldean. This was a great choice! His album had more than just a couple great songs on there, second choice would have been Blake Shelton's All About Tonight.

Vocal Group of the Year: Lady Antebellum! This again was another great choice! None of the others really had an over the top year like Lady A did!

New Artist of the Year: The Band Perry. Honestly, I feel like their group was good, but not good enough to get three awards. I would have liked to see Thompson Square get it. The other three nominees weren't new at all. I don't understand why they were included in that group!

Male Vocalist: Blake Shelton! I <3 me some Blake Shelton, so I was very happy that he won it. Jason Aldean would be my close second choice!

Female Vocalist: Miranda Lambert. Loved that she won it! I loved her acceptance speech as well and her hubby's reaction to it! I love her song Baggage Claim as well.

Entertainer of the Year: Taylor Swift. Okay, I like Taylor Swift, I really do, but I just don't think she had the year to deserve this award! I would have loved to see Brad or Blake win it!
