Wee Bit & Lovely Wednesday

I haven't been writing a lot, because I've had finals but those are done now, so I'll be reading & posting more hopefully! It's time of wee bit & what I'm loving wednesday!



-one- Finals are done for spring semester 2011!

-two- which means that I have a three week break before summer semester.

-three- I'm getting time up at the service desk at work.

-four- The next three Mondays & next two Wednesdays, I have nothing going on, no work and no school.

-five- My family.

-six- the way that my grandpa talks. They says, I says, The two of yas. I'm starting to talk like that, we were talking about the weather & I said it's supposed to be humider than today tomorrow, and my grandma looks at me & says you're starting to talk like grandpa. Whoops (:

-seven- the warmer weather!

-eight- Wee Bit Wednesday!


one} what profession have you always admired?
Police Officers & Nurses. My dad is a police officer & my mom is a nurse. There are many a day that my dad has come home & told us of an officer that has been shot or hurt in the line of duty. His job takes him away a lot, & we sacrifice as a family. I admire the families of police officers as well. I honestly don't know how my stepmom does it, I would be constantly worrying. I was raised to trust & value & respect authority. & Nurses. My mom & stepdad are both nurses. They work in a long term care center, & I can't imagine how they deal with the deaths of their residents on a daily basis. I look up to them as well!

{two} what would the title of your memoir/biography be if it was written today?
Hmm. Live.Laugh.Love. Because that's how I've lived my life so far, laughing & loving.
{three} how far do you commute to work?
7 miles...not too bad.
{four} are your earlobes attached or detached?
attached.

{five} do you eat the unpopped kernels of popcorn at the bottom of the bag?
sometimes.

{six} what is the strangest gift you’ve ever received?
I don't really think I've gotten any strange gifts. Unless you count the ones Coop likes to leave in the middle of the room sometimes(Cooper is my dog btw!)

{seven} what is one tv show that you wish hadn’t been cancelled?
Another hard one....7th Heaven maybe?

{eight} what is something that you are saving money for right now?
tuition...always the tuition.

{nine} what hobby would you like to take up?
calligraphy. I would love to be able to write like that!

{ten} how many times a year do you get really dressed up?
None. I can't remember the last time I truly dressed up..that's kind of sad!

So this my first time doing miscellany monday...so I'm pretty pumped.

Miscellaneous Ramblings

-one- So I'm also doing Mingle Monday. The first blog hop/meme that I ever joined! I love it! I've met some great bloggers from this awesome Monday tradiiton! Go check it out if you haven't yet!!!

-two- My weekend was awesome. Friday I worked a short shift & then went home & stenoed for awhile. Saturday...watched The Blind Side...love that movie. Tim McGraw hello? YES PLEASE! Worked 2 to 11. I like that shift for whatever reason. My favorite CSM's work during that shift. Sunday, Sunday was probably the best day of the weekend. We went to The Crossing again. I love love love that church <3. Then I got home & headed over to my grandma's to help her throw my cousin's fiancee a bridal shower. It was SO much fun. I don't really get to see my grandma's side of the fam that much, I see my grandpa's all the time cause they are up at the cabin wiff us. Anywhosit, the groom-to-be? HOT! Like oh my goodness. His wifey-to-be is one lucky lady! Haha. I helped her out for most of the party & then Mady, Lynn & Ryan got back from Ryan's lacrosse game, they took over, so I could go home & have some "me" time before work. I gave my Grandma a hug & she's like thanks for helping...I appreciate it & you more than you will ever know, have a good night at work...cue the awww. I'm so glad her & my grandpa are home for the summer. I'm still waiting for my grandpa to take me to Daddy O's and/or DQ for the first time this spring. lol. I love my grandparents. Speaking of which, my Grandpa,Lynn,Dad & Ryan picked me up from work Saturday night, and somehow we got on the topic of alcohol sales & how we card anybody looking under 40 to sell. Lynn asked me so do you card just about anybody, and I say yes unless I can tell they are like 80. My grandpa says so would you card me....I say NOPE! *Foot meet mouth* My Grandpa is 66 and doesn't look a day over 55, & sure doesn't act his age . We all laughed about it the rest of the way home. Glad I could be a comic relief guys :D

-three- I am so glad that I only have two weeks left before a two week break from school!

-four- Speaking of school, we had an extra long break in my class today, and while we were waiting for my teacher to get back we laughed so hard. I love the girls in my class!

-five- I totally didn't study for the test I have in my next class...so glad this is the second to last class with this instructor. He has NO teaching skills at all!

It's Mingle Monday around these parts!

How was your Easter?

Mine was FANTASTIC! I woke up yesterday, showered, kept my hair down(my grandma likes it down :D so my hair was free for the day. Went to the Crossing Church which is amazing. They advertise themselves as the church for the people who don't do church, but I DO do church, and I still love it! Anyways, after church, I helped Lynn aka Crip(I don't know if I mentioned here, but she broke her ankle a month and a half ago), make cheesy hashbrowns & a dessert called Angel Lush which was delcious! It has angel food cake, cool whip, pineapple, & strawberries. I have the recipe if anyone wants it. After that I had to work 1:30 to 7. Went to the grandparents house and had din din that my grandma made especially for me(the others had already eaten.) We played cards while Lynn & Dad brought Matt home(Matt is my biological brother & he lives with my mom.) I love spending time with my grandparents. They are so AWESOME (:

& today has been filled with school. Right now I'm on break til 5. I am listening to pandora & just relaxing. Hopefully technologies goes fast, because my cousin Spencer & Uncle Don are coming over afterwards :D :D :D

Hey It's Ok.

So I stole this idea from one of my favorite bloggers Amber. She stole it from Glamour.

It's okay to be watching Laguna Beach for the first time in years, but it totally brings back memories of end of junior high/beginning of high school.

It's okay to think the Laguna girls are spoiled rich brats who think they are better than everyone else.

It's okay to not understand why Kristen & Lauren were attracted to Stephen, when he was so obviously playing BOTH of them.

It's okay to be totally & utterly addicted to Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

It's okay to wanna chuck my laptop out the window because it won't stay on unless it's charging.

It's okay to not understand why America is so obsessed with the Royal Wedding.

It's okay to totally be craving Daddy O's ice cream. I'm hoping that my Grandpa will bring me one of the days he brings me to work this week.

Hey There (:

The last week has been awesome. Spending Tuesday through Thursday at Nessa's house was the mental break I needed. I am so blessed to have such a sweet friend.

On Thursday, Coryn, Nessa & I went out to eat at Broadway Pizza...NOM NOM! & then we went to go see Soul Surfer. It was an AMAZING movie. I cried. Dennis Quaid is very good looking shirtless for an old guy (: I haven't really seen Helen Hunt in anything since Twister except What Women Want, and I LOVED her in both of those movies & Soul Surfer wasn't any different. & Carrie Underwood rocked her role as Bethany's youth pastor. I worked Thursday night and it was a pretty laid back shift. I like laid back shifts lol.

Friday I worked 2 to 11. I've got full hours the next three weeks at work, which I LOVE! Lynn was looking at our family schedule specifically at mine, and she's like wow meghan. you don't have any days off. I said yeah, welcome to my world. I wouldn't change it though. Not for anything. I love my life & my family. My amazing friends too. I feel really blessed guys!

I'm totally obsessed with Karen Kingsbury's books. I'm reading my way through the baxter series, & then just read Leaving. I love her writing! I also loved her 9/11 series.

Yesterday before work, all 5 of us(Lynn,Dad,Mady,Ryan & I) plus Cooper were all laying in my parents bed(get your mind out of the gutters) watching The Blind Side. & I loved it. I didn't get to finish watching it though.

& Army Wives? I watched last night's episode when I got home from work. This is a crazy season! && we have to wait two weeks for the new episode. I need to get caught up on Grey's too. I'm still only half way through the musical episode.

My first class was cancelled this morning, so I don't have class til 2. YAYY!
